Insta-Apprentice Application

You must apply through an established alt on Dragonsfire MOO; your alt should have at least one real-time month of experience on the game. PLEASE DO NOT CREATE THE INSTA-APPRENTICE CHARACTER BEFORE YOUR APPLICATION IS ACCEPTED.

To be eligible, you must answer the questions below in an email to keet@voicenet.com with subject NAME'S INSTA-APPRENTICE APPLICATION. The idea is to give us a fairly detailed picture of your character so that, if he or she comes onscreen, we can all "hit the ground running," so to speak, and we should have a fairly good idea of how to draw your character out. Please do not think that you have to write a novel here... short answers are acceptable.

1. Please state the name of your Dragonsfire MOO alt.

2. Please state the name of the applicant character (i.e. the insta-apprentice).

3. How old is the applicant character?

4. How long has the applicant character been an apprentice?

5. In brief, why are you applying for an insta-apprentice instead of a new apprentice?

6. Please describe the applicant character's personality on a normal day.

7. What actions/events/topics of conversation make your applicant character happy?

8. What actions/events/topics of conversation make your applicant character feel calm?

9. What actions/events/topics of conversation make your applicant character upset? (In other words, if we wanted to push your character's buttons, what should we do?)

10. What does your applicant character like best about Harper Hall?

11. What does your applicant character like least about Harper Hall?

12. What is your applicant character good at within the craft?

13. What is your applicant character not-so-good at within the craft?

14. Where else has your applicant character lived? Does he/she like/miss/resent any of these places?

15. Please describe, in brief, each of the important people (PC or NPC) in your applicant character's life: family, friends, enemies, mentors.

16. Please describe, in brief, each of the important events/circumstances in your applicant character's history.

17. How does your applicant character like working with his/her peers (for example, on group research assignments)?

18. How does your applicant character react to people in authority?

19. If your applicant character could not be a Harper (for whatever reason), what would he/she probably do?

20. If there is anything we didn't ask for that you want to tell us, here is your moment!

When you feel ready, please email the answers to the questions above to keet@voicenet.com with subject NAME'S INSTA-APPRENTICE APPLICATION. Thanks!
